Moonscreen. An outdoor cinema at Waking Life Festival in Portugal exploring new ways for festivals to build. Built in collaboration with Waking Life and steel fabricator Klaas Ghesquiere, it features a crescent shaped enclosure made of canvas draped over an undulating landscape. These mounds, formed from a blend of site clay and compost bound vegetation, provide a serene retreat for people to rest in the day or watch the cinema at night. Over time, the mounds have settled into fertile ground, nurturing a thriving wildflower meadow.
